"O People, lend me an attentive ear, for I don't know whether, after this year, I shall ever be amongst you again. Therefore listen to what I am saying to you carefully and TAKE THESE WORDS TO THOSE WHO COULD NOT BE PRESENT HERE TODAY.
O People, just as you regard this month, this day, this city as Sacred, so regard the life and property of every Muslim as a sacred trust. Return the goods entrusted to you to their rightful owners. Hurt no one so that no one may hurt you. Remember that you will indeed meet your LORD, and that HE will indeed reckon your deeds. ALLAH has forbidden you to take usury (Interest), therefore all interest obligation shall henceforth be waived...
Beware of Satan, for your safety of your religion. He has lost all hope that he will ever be able to lead you astray in big things, so beware of following him in small things.
O People, it is true that you have certain rights with regard to your women, but they also have right over you. If they abide by your right then to them belongs the right to be fed and clothed in kindness. Do treat your women well and be kind to them for they are your partners and comitted helpers. And it is your right that they do not make friends with any one of whom you do not approve, as well as never to commit adultery.
O People, listen to me in earnest, whorship ALLAH, say your five daily prayers (Salah), fast during the month of Ramadhan, and give your wealth in Zakat. Perform Hajj if you can afford to. You know that every Muslim is the brother of another Muslim. YOU ARE ALL EQUAL. NOBODY HAS SUPERIORITY OVER OTHER EXCEPT BY PIETY AND GOOD ACTION.
Remember, one day you will appear before ALLAH and answer for your deeds. So beware, do not astray from the path of righteousness after I am gone.
O People, NO PROPHET OR APOSTLE WILL COME AFTER ME AND NO NEW FAITH WILL BE BORN. Reason well, therefore, O People, and understand my words which I convey to you. I leave behind me two things, the QUR'AN and my example, the SUNNAH and if you follow these you will never go astray.
All those who listen to me shall pass on my words to others and those to others again; and may the last ones understand my words better than those who listen to me direcly.
BE MY WITNESS O ALLAH THAT I HAVE CONVEYED YOUR MESSAGE TO YOUR PEOPLE."

Today, over 1.2 billion people across the world adhere to the faith of Islam. They are called Muslims, i.e. those who submit to the will of God.
The history of Islam starts from Prophet Adam. Muslims believe in all prophets sent by God, including Noah, Abraham, Moses, Jesus and Muhammad (may peace be upon them all).
Unfortunately, today Islam has been maligned both by those who claim to profess it and those who don’t. Despite this, Islam is the fastest growing religion in the world today.
Instead of relying on others, we encourage you to learn and understand more about this faith yourself. Find out and make your own informed decision about Islam.

1 GOD - 1 UMMAH - 1 LOVE
...Comtemplatin' on our current situation
everyday is something new that we need solutions to
I thought we had the truth, then if so, why do we let these corrupted individuals stand up and take the lead?
I read about my history (Islaamic history) and it strenthens me
hold tight to this belief as we struggle in these streets
dedicated to this cause even if everybody else falls
We'll fight to the end and bring this deen back again
from here to across the seas, We hear this Ummah's pleas
We fight like white cells eliminating a disease, to my brothers, fathers, sisters, and my mothers raise the flag of this deen and bring down the others
away with the crooks let us return to the books... Qur'an and Sunnah bring back the Haqq to this dunya
enough cries and the innocent lives ...
it's time to realize da wish of paradise
see it in my eyes who wishes to deny? That since the fall of our state
we've been livin' in disgrace
Allah has placed the trust upon the ones who believe to carry this invitation to every nation...

The conflict in sudan, is not religiously associated in any way at all. The 2 parties that are in conflict are both muslim. The root of the conflict is due to racial discriminiation. Its seriously, Arab Muslim vs. Black Muslim. Please make note that, Islaam teaches that no person holds any superiority over another. Therefore, the conflict in sudan is not religiously affiliated in any way whatsoever. ...yet the media always mentions the term ISLAMIC MILITIAS, when referring to the sudanese conflict. When I have already mentioned that ISLAAM is not relevant to the conflict in any way, So what is the point of mentioning that the parties warring are "Islaamic" militias? Uganda, a Christian man thinks that he is God and has a divine duty to make every one believe in his revelations. He is forming child soldiers to murder, rape and kidnap ppl. This conflict is DIRECTLY associated to a religious belief. However, when the media mentions this story, they seem to forget to mention that the man is acting on a CHRISTIAN BELIEF. Never will you hear the term, CHRISTIAN MILITIAS, CHRISTIAN EXTREMISTS etc. I think that its very clear that the media is trying to paint an evil and grimm picture of Islaam by using small manipulative strategies such as this. Their strategies only target those that are ignorant, and those that blindly follow the headlines with full faith. I just think its a very dangerous game of propoganda. Hopefully, these manipulative strategies will be in vain, since the population of muslims is over 1 billion and growing, and were not isolated to just 1 race or nation or continent, so by realizing that, hopefully ppl can see that were not all crazy war mongering lunatics...as they portray us to be in the media.

El- Hajj Malik Shabazz- And when I speak I don’t speak as a democrat or a republican Nor an American I speak as a victim of Ameikkka’s so called Democracy You and I have never seen democracy All we've seen is hypocrisy
Taqwa Jihad- It’s too bad for those that buy into the lies Thinking Islam can’t rise so they compromise Claiming civilized cause they drive an expensive car And the call their friends non-Muslims and not Kuffar They feel pride when complimented on their success Cause over seas they had less, now they have the best From Allah they have been blessed, but give credit to these snakes And do what it takes to please these fakes Cause before they were here they used to go to sleep hungry at night Now they are so full they can’t take another bite And now they throw away more then they used to eat in a day That’s why they look at me crazy when I diss the USA Thinking their situation proves that this is the best nation Can’t believe how they have been compensated for their integration Instant gratification the capitalist basis of life That why when it comes to Islam all they see is sacrifice
Can I do Dawah and still clear a G
Get all the newest things for people to envy
Everything has to be a benefit to how they are living Before they even think about giving That is why they won’t listen Unless you have a show on tell lie vision And sponsors make the decision to pay keep your show on These corporate buyers get marking liars to make commercials to keep their product image strong So while the nation watches your show, they see everything they need to try All these new products, they think they need to buy Hoping these products can put them a status above They want be the people on the commercial so they fall in love With material things and their accumulation becomes a lives purpose Never see how emotions change and over time these products become worthless Well, I guess you can’t see past their schemes, while you fulfill your dreams They are the puppet masters and expensive things are the strings So as long as you are happy you for a limited time When you feel unhappy, you can bring it back for only a 19.99 And even when that wears out they got some more More products you need to get, at the nearest store See at their core is the need to get rich So they design a system to keep them on top with no hitch And leave you thinking that you have input in those elections Leaving Allah’s straight path for different directions
"Weather you vote for the lesser of two evils you vote for evil" Better get right the first time there is no sequel Some feelings may get hurt, because of my work But asking for a man to legislate instead of Allah to me is shirk "Weather you vote for the lesser of two evils you vote for evil"
Islam and democracy Even if it was by the people, ain't equal Lobbing politicians like they care meanwhile somewhere someone’s life isn't fair You shouldn't even compare because of the American Dream the world has a nightmare. Now that we have talked about how they have you strung Lets see how the kept you down with the game they run See this government ain’t what it claim to be This isn't any true democracy it’s controlled by three? First it is for the cooperation’s the real pimps in the game You know those that own the generic and the brand name They choose a few policy makers and paid for their education Let them establish think tanks for the policy of this nation Last are the so-called politicians that they make you choose Vote for in an election, and read about in the news They implement policies developed by trained brains To help their sponsors when in the cooperate games See you think that these politicians represent you son Not unless you made a campaign contribution Mental pollution to think that a republican or democrat Represents anyone whose pockets ain’t fat Better check the fact, don’t believe this fable Become complacent from scraps under the table While other colonized countries gets none In America we reaping benefits from unequal global wealth distribution Were companies pay some one $2.00 a day To make 10 pairs of shoes FOR $150.00 and us we pay Turn it around and give us a job for $120 a day To do nothing -----so we have nothing to say But then we give it back to the government when we buy the shoes Pay taxes twice, ain’t it nice how they get paid for the dues This government SEE it doubles its money Off an income and sales tax and it ain’t funny It is all part of the american dream For a select few and you are a part of the scheme What I mean, thinking that everything is fine cause you living nice Turing a blind eye to the third world’s natural resources the USA heist From nations were citizens are left with zero But a tyrant for a leader that you think is their hero But most of you already know that, cause you from that Why do you ignore that, and don’t think just react These same companies that make the products you use Is the same ones who make you like the politicians you choose, And they pick who loose, just by telling ya the “news” And don’t tell me you haven't seen the clues what got you thinking you can get your homelands protection in an election Just wanna see what section buy your affection A Republican and a Democrat, it all wack Need to talk to those companies that control that Just being macked and you relaxed Just spending and counting your assets Better fulfill your obligation Forget voting need To establish an Islamic nation Recognize Islam is the answer And stop calling brothers working for the revival a cancer Cause they don’t fit in your plan To be an upstanding full fledged American See these politicians are nothing more then a front to the people so it don’t seem That the only justice you see is what the paper bring Ask the dream team, the clought belong to the dead presidents and those holding them While us Muslims get none and I don’t even wanna talk about are petroleum They took from each and every one of us in this Ummah Told us focus on a “religion” and don’t worry dunahh Fake sheiks Saying material will ruin ya Telling us better concentrate on the sunnah That is why I won’t deviate Follow the method of Muhammad to establish a state Meanwhile brothers and sisters tricked in elections Off the straight path of Allah in different directions
Islam and democracy Even if it was by the people, ain't equal Lobbing politicians like they care meanwhile somewhere someone’s life isn't fair You shouldn't even compare because of the American Dream the world has a nightmare.
El- Hajj Malik Shabazz- When we open are eyes today and look around America We see America not through the eyes of someone who has enjoyed the fruits of Americanism We see America through the eyes of someone who has been a victim of Americanism We don’t see any American dream We’ve experienced only the American nightmare

From amongst the fifty-two plus nation states they create
to develop hate between the once great Muslim Ummah
now devoured by this dunya.
They know the sooner we come together the better.
They want Islam gone forever, as we strive (in the cause of Islam)
things get hotter than the desert.
From the beginning, first inning, the likes of Abdullah Bin Sabah
tried to cause division even while the Sahaba were liven.
What makes you think in a time where Islam is considered last,
they won’t try and cause a clash, to keep the Muslims second class.
Remember Laurence of Arabia!! Pitted the Arabs against the Turks,
see how these divisions work?
While we concentrate on Wudhu and Salah they develop plots,
remember Ghulam Ahmad and W.D. Mohammed?

Fear not of men because men must die.
The world is overrun by the wealthy and the wicked but God is sufficent in disposing of all affairs.

It is sad and unfortunate part of the human nature, that when oppressed by others, we appeal to humanity and justice, and fight against the oppression, as we should. Once we get the upper hand we turn around and inflict similar atrocities on others. All ethnic groups, religions and societies have been guilty of this evil.
In these ever-repeating tragedies, the innocents are the victims. Yet by their quiescence, when it happens to others, they are guilty of being enablers. Often the lament is what could an individual do? It is usually true, but not always. As the history is witness, not many but a few times, an average individual has made a difference.
It is important to speak out against all atrocities, even when one cannot make a difference materially. It is more difficult, therefore more important to speak out against atrocities committed by one's own kind.
|
O you who have attained to faith! Be ever steadfast in upholding equity, bearing witness to the truth for the sake of God, even though it be against your own selves or your parents and kinsfolk... (Quran 4:135) |
There are a number of examples where the oppressed have turned around and become the oppressors them selves. In 2004 the Asian Center for Human Rights reported the land grab and killing of indigenous "Jumma" people in south-eastern Bangladesh (Chitagong Hills). The attacks are aimed at terrorizing indigenous people for their lands. In April 2003, the army and illegal settlers burnt down Jumma houses in Bhuiochari village after indigenous peoples asked the settlers to stop encroaching onto their lands, and to dismantle the houses they had built. The army encircled the village and forced the indigenous people out of their homes while the settlers looted and burnt down the houses.
Recall that Bangladesh broke away from Pakistan in 1971 because of the inequities and the maltreatment from the more dominant West Pakistan government. Similar atrocities are committed by the Janjaveed (Nomadic Sudanese, claming Arab decent) on the darker settled Muslims of Darfur region.
Muslims vocally, monetarily and emotionally decry and condemn, as they should, the atrocities and land grab against Muslims in Palestine, Bosnia, Kosovo, Chechnya, Ughur, Kashmir, Gujarat and many other places. Such land grab, ethnic cleansing and genocide are occasionally even gingerly condemned by the supposedly Islamic governments, though not too vocally lest their own record may be examined more closely.
Yet, when Muslims oppress people of other religions or even other Muslims in the same manner the criticism at most is muted. For example the persecution of Muslims and non-Muslims by the Talibans in Afghanistan, Kurds by Arab regimes, Jumma people in Bangladesh, Qadianis in Pakistan or tribal cleansing in Darfur region of Sudan and Acheh in Indonesia.
To their credit, many Muslim journalists have taken pains to write about it with passion. Bangladesh Observer wrote a very strong editorial, but the governments, social and political organizations and individuals remain generally silent or perfunctorily shake their heads.
Often governments justify their actions or inaction by pointing to the follies and deviance of the people being oppressed. These are more self-serving then real.
Even when true, the duty of the government is to treat all its citizens with equality and justice. The miscreants should be brought to the court of law. Governments that suppress civil descent and practice oppression in effect invite rebellion.
Unfortunately it is true that some in the western media with an anti-Islamic agenda would take the Muslim condemnation of other Muslims for their own purposes. This should not deter us, because bias against Islam has been going on for a long time and we have no control on what others do. We need to make sure we do what justice demands. Our timidity and non-condemnation only helps the evil forces within our communities. Paucity of reform and negation of such heinous forces from inside the community bring condemnation and pressure from outside. It only helps to advance the agenda of those outside forces that are malicious towards Islam for their own vile reasons.
It is always better if the opposition springs from within the community. It is more effective and conducive to thoughtful change.
The idea that "true understanding and adherence of religion would ameliorate these problems," have been bandied about in all religions since time immemorial. It has only produced more discord and arguments about the true meaning of the religion .
In public discourse we never tire of pointing out that Islam stands for peace, mercy and compassion' and it does! Oppression breeds extremism. When extreme becomes common, the normative base of the society is severely injured. Such perversity of beliefs must be opposed by the civil society, especially one that claims a moral high ground.
When others practice cruelty and mayhem against Muslims, it hurts and we resist and fight against it. When Muslims do it, we need to fight even harder. We should condemn it, resist it and fight against it with even greater resolve.
The question that is staring us in the face and tugging at our conscience is - Do we practice Islam as a religion of morality without exception as it ought to be, or simply as an extension of local tribalism into a super tribe?
Should only others be condemned for inhumanity, but people in our own super-tribe are ours therefore should be supported lest they grow even weaker or at worst should be gingerly criticized so that others may not see what we refuse to acknowledge?
It is a shame that the central tenet of Islamic ethos based on justice is so cavalierly and nonchalantly violated by many Muslim governments and leaders, and we are mute, observers at best and by our quiescence collaborators at worst. 12月27日

The miscalculated policies of the US administration in the Middle East are quickly depleting the country's ability to sustain its once unchallenged global position. Winds of change are blowing everywhere, and there is little that Washington's ideologues can do to stop it.
The above claim is increasingly finding its way into the realm of mainstream thinking, despite all attempts to mute or relegate its import. A recent speech by US Republican congressman and chairman of the House of international relations committee, Henry Hyde was the focal point of analysis by Martin Jacques in The Guardian. "Our power has the grave liability of rendering our theories about the world immune from failure. But by becoming deaf to easily discerned warning signs, we may ignore long-term costs that result from our actions and dismiss reverses that should lead to a re-examination of our goals and means," Hyde said.
In his poignant analysis - decoding Hyde's deliberately implicit thoughts - Jacques argued, "The Bush administration stands guilty of an extraordinary act of imperial overreach which has left the US more internationally isolated than ever before, seriously stretched financially, and guilty of neglect in east Asia and elsewhere."
Ironically, the invasion of Iraq with its "thousands of tactical" mistakes - as recently admitted by Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice - was meant to solidify and ensure the US' post Cold-War global dominance. According to Jacques, as inferred from Hyde's notable speech, "It may well prove to be a harbinger of its decline." It can also be argued that the US adventurism in Iraq has provided the coveted opportunity to other countries to further their national and regional interests without the constant fear of US reprisals.
In a recent interview, MIT professor Noam Chomsky, known for his sharp criticism of US foreign policy particularity in Indochina, Central and Latin America, delineated a new global political reality that is being forged as the US stubbornly insists on fighting a lost battle in Iraq. "What's happening is something completely new in the history of the hemisphere. Since the Spanish conquest, the countries of Latin America have been pretty much separated from one another and oriented towards the imperial power. For the first time, they are beginning to integrate and in quite a few different ways."
That integration is evident, according to Chomsky, not only by examining the rise of the Left in these countries and the almost immediate alliances - economic cooperation, for example - that these popular governments have achieved. There is a simultaneous rise of the political relevance of the indigenous Indian population in Bolivia, and the opportunities it represents to the Indian population of Ecuador and Peru. Moreover, there is a noteworthy South-South integration that is already breaking regional boundaries and significantly undermining the overpowering grip of the IMF, which has played the infamous role of the unfair middleman between the rich and hapless poor.
China and India, on the other hand, continue to achieve astounding economic growth with China's economic might and relevance to soon surpass that of the US. In fact, there is an intense diplomatic clash underway between the US and China, since the latter has dared to violate the understanding of the Monroe Doctrine of 1823, which gave the US alone the right to manage its Latin American domains. For the first time, says a BBC analysis, a foreign country has challenged American influence in the region, and successfully so. Indeed, China is upgrading its economic relations with Brazil - both increasingly formidable economic powers - in ways that will eventually help Brazil break away from a domineering US hold.
These are all part of the "warning signs" to which Hyde was refereeing in his speech. While there are indications that Washington is finally waking up to this grim reality, which it has helped create, there are no signs whatsoever that a fundamental change of course in US foreign policy in the Middle East is taking place: the destructive war in Iraq rages on; the self-inflicting damage of unconditionally backing Israel in its endless colonial ambitions perpetuates; and the same detrimental policy line used with Iraq is employed, almost identically with Iran. US policy planners are as ever insistent on following the same destructive course that has compromised their nation's global standing.
Instead of paying attention to these woes, the Bush administration is trying to recover some of its Southeast Asia losses by signing a nuclear treaty with India, an action that reeks of double standards and miscalculations. The administration has also lifted the ban on sales of lethal arms to Indonesia in recognition of its "unique strategic role in Southeast Asia," despite protests from human rights groups.
Despite Bush's recent Ôhistoric' trip to India and other top officials' hasty attempts to reassert America's global dominance, there should be no illusions that the US' chief foreign policy debacle starts and ends with the Middle East - especially its Ôspecial' relationship with Israel. While the latter has served the role of the client state since its establishment on ethnically cleansed Palestinian territories, this relationship was significantly altered in recent years, with the pro-Israeli lobby taking centre stage, not simply by influencing US foreign policy toward Israel, but eventually by directing it altogether in the region.
The rise of the neoconservatives helped create the false impression that the US and Israeli policies are one and the same, including their mutual interests in maintaining Israel's military "edge" over its neighbors, which eventually led to the invasion of Iraq. While the neocons are washing their hands of any responsibility in the Middle East impasse, the Bush administration's arrogance is stopping it from immediately withdrawing its troops from Iraq and reassessing its relationship with Israel.
The world is changing, yet the US government refuses to abandon its old ways: militaristic, self-defeating and overbearing. Indeed, the US must remold, not only its policies in the Middle East, but also its hegemonic policies throughout the world. For once, the US administration needs to tap into its sense of reason, and discern the "warning signs", that should lead to "the re-examination of [its] goals and means." A first step is to bring the troops home, and with them the entire doctrine that unrestrained violence and perpetual wars can further the cause of an already distrusted superpower.

They call my people blood thirsty terrorists blowing up buildings and planes with dynamite tied to their chests killing civilians by the hundreds -but am I a terrorist?
True, some of my people of names similar to mine do act violently in despair when their human rights are stolen when their suffering and plights are ignored in the refugee camps of Sabra and Chatala. - but am I a terrorist?
They are not living their faith just acting on emotions and hate full with the revenge for the oppressor with little regard for innocent lives they are just Muslim in name -but am I a terrorist?
Islam, the religion of peace teaches Muslims to respect life "If anyone had killed one man except in lieu of murder and mischief it is as if he killed the whole mankind" Same verse in Torah and Quran too by the same God -how could I be a terrorist?
Prophet Mohammad, Peace be upon him was a mercy to mankind he cared for the poor, elderly and sick even if not from his faith he stood in respect for a funeral procession of a Jew he let a cat take a nap on his robe not to disturb her, he cut his robe He told Muslim armies not to hurt women and kids sick and old, cut trees or kill animals just for fun I love him so much -how could I be a terrorist?
But why do they call us terrorists? why not call the IRA, Red Army, Tamil Tigers Militant Hindus or Serbians terrorists. Why not call the militia blowing up government buildings and killing innocent civilians a terrorist No, the term is reserved for Muslims - and I am a Muslim.
We are the victims of terrorism in Palestine, Kashmir, Bosnia and Kosova by individuals and states with knives, guns, tanks and rape -who is a terrorist?
I remember Serb soldiers came to my house they killed my father and my big brother too I miss them so much. They raped my mom and my sister too. I loved them so much. Then they burned my house, my books and toys too - and they call us terrorists.
I got scared, and fled into the woods joined a caravan going to the border migrating from oppression to a land of peace and freedom
I have walked two days and climbed a mountain I am hungry and thirsty, tired and sick My legs are weak and my feet are bleeding unable to walk anymore - do I look like a terrorist?
I am not a terrorist I am a Muslim seeking love, peace and justice My name is Mehmet Poturvic I am a 6 year old from Kosova Dear God, please help me and my people. "You alone I worship, from you alone I seek help"
"Prayer for Global Change

Help us oh Lord of the worlds, guide us in our time of ignorance, and shower Your mercy upon the victims of unwarranted bloodshed for none despairs of Your Mercy except those who have gone astray.
Yaa Allah, disable the bombs of tyranny, the weapons of wickedness, and the car bombs that don't care, we seek refuge in you from the punishment of the grave, from the punishment of hell, from the trials of life and death, and from the trials of the Anti-Christ.
Yaa Allah, when thy servants ask us about You, we shall say that you are close, that You answer the call of the caller when he calls upon You, and we shall seek you, and we shall believe in You, that perhaps You will guide us aright.
Yaa Allah, extend Your peace and Your blessings to Your last Prophet Muhammad ibn Abdullah, the truthful one, and to his family, as You have extended such to Ibrahim and the family of Ibrahim. For amongst the entire universe, You are the Praiseworthy and the Majestic.
And our last cry shall be Praise to Allah, Lord of all the worlds
Your humble and needy servant, Abu Laith Luqman ibn Abdulkarim Muhammad Ahmad"
